If mobile traffic is excluded, doesn’t that significantly cut down on scale?
On average Digiseg recognize 70% of all digital events. Mobile device traffic on wifi is recognized but mobile device traffic using cellular data 3g, 4g, and 5g is filtered out . Cellular traffic makes up a part of the 30% that Digiseg does not segment. Cellular traffic is often used when users are on the move or in transit and their geolocation says nothing about their own neighborhood or their household characteristics.
What is the difference between Segment Reach and In-Target Reach in your Audience Builder?
In Digiseg we segment neighborhoods, an approach that by nature is probabilistic. When you select an audience in our Audience Builder, some users will have the right characteristics while others may fall outside of your targeting criteria. That’s why we display the accuracy of your selected audience in two columns: In-Target Reach and Excess. In-Target Reach represents the number of users who fall within your specified audience criteria, while Excess represents the number of users who don’t. Together, these two columns make up the Total Segment Reach.
Can I target people speaking particular language in a given country?
We do not segment by language but most DSPs provide language targeting.
How long does it take to get a custom audience?
We love custom audiences and usually we make them within a day. Send a campaign brief to us on support@digiseg.io. If you have a tight deadline or any additional questions, please let us know and we be happy to help you.
Aren’t IP addresses considered personal information?
IP addresses are considered personal only when they are linked to individuals or households. However, when IPs cannot be linked to a person or household they are not personal and therefore not within the scope of privacy legislation like GDPR or CCPA. Digiseg Audience Data is produced without the use of personal data. Digiseg’s IP addresses are mathematically derived. They are not collected from digital events. They are simply a list of possible IPs for a given territory. To see more on how Digiseg produces audience data please visit: How Digiseg Build Audience Data.
